Auralities Talk

Preparing this talk was an amazing opportunity to share some of my obsessions and to reflect on how Foley (my day job) links in to and feeds my artistic practice.

The majority of my talk was about listening to objects and once again I took my favourite quote from Ridley Walker as a starting point. What does it mean to go as fast as a stone? How can we listen to the ‘Other’ from their perspective rather than our own? Is it even possible?
